Planetarium On The Go is a digital portable planetarium with a fixed Dome, a semi-permanent portable construction with chairs for the spectators, traveling all over Greece and anywhere in the World if invited, providing a unique educational experience. Its main feature is the hemispherical projection screen 6m in diameter and 57 square meters in surface area!
The images are projected across the entire inner surface of the dome completely surrounding the audience, creating an impressive immersive environment.
It can be set up both indoors or outdoors and it is air conditioned, with heating during the winter and cooling during the summer.
We live in a time when quality science education is more important than ever. At the same time, we live in difficult times. We need to escape, to explore, to discover, to observe. What is around us that we like. What lies far from us and excites our imagination.
By showing the fascinating discoveries in space exploration, it both inspires and educates people of all ages about our surroundings – the Earth itself and our place in the Universe.
An event includes planetarium shows inside the Dome and then stargazing with a telescope 🔭 outside, the Sun’s photosphere with special filters, observation of sunspots during the day or the starry night as it gets darker. The telescope observations should the weather permits.
With our new technology telescopes we can observe deep sky objects – star clusters, nebulae, other distant galaxies – even from urban environments. Save images of the Cosmos directly to your mobile phone.

We can come to your place, even in the most remote locations, offering a high quality immersive educational experience. We organize events at science festivals, schools, museums, libraries or any public place.
Capacity: Planetarium On The Go has 36 chairs and can accommodate about 40 spectators per show, with the excess spectators sitting on pillows. We can also accommodate wheelchair users.
Mechanical Ventilation: With the use of air ducts, fresh air continuously enters the dome, with total air renewal every five minutes.
